The 38th Johnny Kelley Half Marathon begins at 8:15am on May 27th, 2018, alongside the Hyannis Village Green (367 Main Street - Hyannis). For more information on bib pickup, race times, etc., please see the Event Schedule page.

The course is extremely picturesque and historical, traveling down Main Street, Hyannis, past historic Hyannis Harbor and the Hy-Line Nantucket Ferries, by the John F. Kennedy Memorial, with a great view of Kalmus Beach and Lewis Bay, through historic Hyannisport, along Craigville Beach and through the charming Cape Cod village of Centerville. Lots of water views!


The course is paved, and mostly flat and gentle, with a few rolling areas.


The Johnny Kelley Half Marathon is a one-loop course. The course is not closed to traffic; however, the traffic is very light on most of the course. The course is well monitored by the Barnstable Police Department and seasoned road race volunteers.

6 aid stations, providing water, lemon-lime Gatorade, and toilets.


Courses staffed by emergency vehicles, and there are three (3) EMT's along the course and four (4) at the Finish Line, with Emergency Service provided by Hyannis Fire Department and Centerville Fire Department.
